Art Basel week: TASCHEN x The Upper House

The Upper House, in collaboration with one of the world’s most influential publishing houses, TASCHEN, has just released a unique room offer, a pop-up bookstore and an exclusive event with Marlene Taschen.

Pop-up Store

From 15 March to 31 April, TASCHEN Pop-up Store will be set up at the hotel. Together with Collector’s classics such as Annie Leibovitz and Mick Rock: The Rise of David Bowie, the brand new Issey Miyake monograph, complete with original Miyake-designed book bag, and the breathtaking Naomi Campbell Art Edition. The pop-up store is open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (closing is at 8:00 pm from 28 March onwards).

Special Room Package

From 15 March to 31 May, guests staying for two consecutive nights or more at The Upper House‘s Studio 70 will enjoy one signature drink at Café Gray Deluxe or The Lawn, an Upper House Multi-Currency Wallet, and a HK$1,000 house credit.  Guests will also receive a 15% discount on all TASCHEN titles, available at Kelly & Walsh flagship store in Pacific Place, a set of exclusive Sebastião Salgado postcards when purchasing any TASCHEN title, with a complimentary offer for a one-year TASCHEN magazine subscription.

Upper Suite guests will enjoy an extra night on the house, an upgrade to HK$1,500 house credit, as well as daily breakfast in Café Gray Deluxe, a bottle of house champagne and a copy of TASCHEN’s special book, “The Complete Collector’s Edition”.

Up Close With Marlene Taschen

In addition to the exciting offers, The Upper House is having Marlene Taschen, Director of Business Development at TASCHEN, for an “Up Close With…” event on 20 March to chat and share ideas with her. Marlene will talk about her family business and share insights of what the future may hold for the print media industry and more.
